Barbara Jones

Barbara L. Jones (nee Miller), 72, of Woolwich Twp., formerly of Gibbstown, passed away suddenly March 5, 2009. She is survived by her dedicated and loving husband of 47 years, Ronald Jones, beloved mother of Debbie (Skeet) Fisler, Eric Jones, dedicated grandmother of Mike, Ronnie, Jeff, Eric, great grandmother of 6 and loving sister of Jane Moor and Elizabeth Crispin. For 11 years Barbara was a confidential assistant to Freeholder Joe Brigandi, Jr., and a member of the Eastern Star Swedesboro Chapter #115. She loved being with her family and grandchildren and helping anyone who needed it. Cooking was her specialty and also loved to do quilting, oil and tole painting. A viewing will be on Monday 7-9PM and Tuesday 9-10AM at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by services at 10AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. Virginia Yandach

Virginia "Ginny" Yandach (nee Cassidy), 67, a life long resident of Gibbstown, passed away February 28, 2009. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Frank Yandach Sr., beloved mother of Frank Jr. (Carolyn) Yandach, Mark (Diane) Yandach, Valerie (Tony) DiPatri, Gwendolyn (Steve) Matteo and Christy Yandach. Loving sister of Dorothy Ellis, Tom Cassidy, Fred and Charles Weitz and Patti Griffin, dedicated grandmother of Frankie III, Kyle, Jason, Darien and Trista Yandach, Miranda McIntyre, Regina, Dana and Cecily DiPatri, Jacob and Stephanie Matteo and Keith Mendez. "Ginny" was a member of the Gibbstown and Repaupo Volunteer Fireman’s Auxiliary and she was voted "Outstanding Lady" of the Fire Auxiliary of 2008. She spent her whole life dedicated to her family, loved her time camping at Tamerlane Campground, playing bingo, cards, and going to the casino. She was certainly known for her great cup of coffee and her famous meatballs/gravy and that she was able to tell you exactly how many she made. Her generosity to everyone will never be forgotten, finding that good bargain and never forgetting a holiday and making sure each grandchild got a themed goodie bag and a card. A viewing will be on Wednesday 6-9PM and Thursday 9-10AM at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad Street, followed by services at 10AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. John Grelli

John J. Grelli Sr. age 64 years of Paulsboro died Friday, February 27, 2009 in Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. Mr. Grelli was born in Woodbury, raised in Gibbstown and he lived in Paulsboro for the last 6 years. He was a veteran serving in the Army National Guard. Mr. Grelli retired as Deputy Chief after 25 years of service with the Greenwich Township Police Department, Gibbstown. He was a retired member of the P.B.A. Local #122; past member of the Sons of Italy, Carmel S. Morina Lodge # 2580, Paulsboro; and a past member of the Salem County Sportsmen’s Club. Mr. Grelli enjoyed playing fast and slow pitch softball and he was the ultimate Yankees fan. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharyn Grelli (nee Smith) of Paulsboro; his sons, Navy Lt. John J. Jr. and Audra Grelli of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael and Lori Grelli of Gibbstown; his grandsons, John, Joseph and Michael Grelli; his mother, Dorothy Grelli of Gibbstown; his brother, Joe and Judy Grelli of Monroeville and his faithful companion, "Micki". Mr. Grelli was predeceased by his father, John N. Grelli. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, March 5, 2009 in the McBRIDE - FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 228 West Broad Street, Paulsboro. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 PM and Thursday morning after 10 AM. Cremation will be private. Rose DeLiberis

Rose DeLiberis (nee Pasquini), 92, formerly of Gibbstown, passed away February 23, 2009. She is the beloved mother of Veronica (Lawrence) Liptak, Lumberton, Joe (Jeanne) DeLiberis, Delaware, devoted grandmother of Joe, Leanne, Michael, Renee, Michael and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Alessio DeLiberis. In Gibbstown, many years ago, Rose and Alessio owned and operated Pop’s Luncheonette. She loved being with her family, crafts and gardening. A viewing will be on Thursday 9:30-11:00AM at the St. Michael’s Church, Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, followed by a funeral mass at 11AM. Interment is private.
